Just after Indian paypal account bank withdrawal problem solved, a new problem has arises for few International bank users of Nepal. Nepalese banks have reduced maximum withdrawal limit to 10000. Of course I can still withdraw 40K in a day but the problem is the high service charge banks charges for international ATM withdrawal.
I use a bank account and debit card from an American bank Wachovia. They charge 3% of each the amount of each transaction+ $5 international service fee for each transaction. If I want to withdraw 500$ then I will have to pay around $65 in service fee. For the withdrawal of same amount I used to have to pay $20 before. Most of the international banks charge in the basis of transaction, not in the basis of the amount. This way, Nepalese banks are now sucking 75% of more money from the simplest form of banking transaction. ATM machines should be for reducing the operating cost for banks not for fucking customers.
Shame on them!
