Even after reading all the good things people have to say about this movie, I haven’t seen it. And thats not because I don’t like the movie, but because I love it. And I just feel good about not having seen the movie yet :)

If you come from New Baneshwor area and have office/college around Bhatbhateni/Naxal/Garidhara like me you can aparently get away with any traffic jams or signals. You need to take this route:
Baneshwor-Anamnagar-New plaza-Kalikashathan- Charkhal - Kamalpokhari - Police Headquarter.
I’d been taking this route since last month and I haven’t seen traffic jam at all. It takes me almost 25 minute to reach office if I take maitighar-putalisadak route during 10am hour. The above route only takes 10 minute or even less.
So, I’ve found new way of cheering up if I need some break from work.
Its funny how people interpret songs. And this site called songmeanings.net is where you can read them all. Not a big fan though, I’d been listening RHCP’s latest album and wondered what really is the song “monarchy of roses” about.
This one’s pretty interesting:
To me it very obviously is about the Holy Rosary of Catholicism! Every lyric in this song (including the names)supports this theory. It also isn’t the first time the Peppers touch on religion…(think Shallow Be Thy Game, Wet Sand, etc.)
And this one also makes sense:
You could take this as a comment on the nation’s preoccupation with College Football.Hear me out.The first thing that clued me to this was the opening line. “Crimson Tide” is the mascot of the University of Alabama athletics. They also have some of the most passionate fans you will ever see.”Several of my friends wear the color of the crown.” This could point to friends who support different teams, indicated by the school colors they wear.”Mary wants to build it up… Sheri wants to tear it all back down.” This could point to one fan obsessively supporting a team, while another fan wants to see the team fail.”The Monarchy of Roses”, “We all want the rose, you know.” What team does not want to go on to win the Rose Bowl.Anyway, that’s one thought I had on it.
And here’s another interesting/funny one:
the song is about anthony’s love for motorcycles and it is told from the perspective of driving through LA with different people. “several of my best friends wear the colors of the crown”
So basically, when everyone loves a song, it doesn’t really have to mean anything specific. Its good as long as it sounds good.
So the Biblical scholars mis-translated the Hebrew word for “young woman” into the Greek word for “virgin,” which was a pretty easy mistake to make, since there is only a subtle difference in the spelling. But back then it was the “virgin” that caught people’s attention. It’s not every day a virgin conceives and bears a son. So you keep that for a couple of hundred years, and the next thing you know, you have the Holy Catholic church.
